List of female soccer players with at least 100 international matches
The list of female football players with at least 100 international matches (also known as the Hundreds Club or Club of Hundreds ) lists all female football players who, according to the world football association FIFA (last published in January 2011) or association statistics , have played 100 or more A- internationals for a national football team . For the currently 338 female soccer players, the ranking position, nationality , continental association , number of international matches and the period in which they played the matches are named.
The record national player is the American midfielder Kristine Lilly with 354 internationals, who ended her international career in 2010 after 23 years and played almost twice as many internationals as the record male international players . Another 21 players have also played at least 200 games, including two Chinese women who were only listed by FIFA on May 15, 2009 with 201 ( Pu Wei then played other games) and 200 games in the list of hundreds, Birgit Prinz , Katrine Pedersen , Caroline Seger , Therese Sjögran , Patrizia Panico and Gemma Fay as the only European players so far as well as the two Canadians Christine Sinclair and Diana Matheson . The first nine places are occupied by CONCACAF players (eight US-Americans and one Canadian), of which two are still active: the Canadian Sinclair and the US-American Carli Lloyd . In addition, the USA has most players with at least 100 international matches.
On March 6, 2013, five players made their 100th international match at the Algarve and Cyprus Cup for the first time on the same day: Rachel Buehler (USA), Anita Pádár (Hungary), Sophie Schmidt (Canada), Caroline Seger and Sara Thunebro (both Sweden).
UEFA has been honoring players with at least 100 international matches since 2015, including the Ukrainian Ljudmyla Pekur , who is not yet listed here, on October 22nd .
In the squad list for the 2019 World Cup, four Thai women and 6 other Chinese women with at least 100 international matches were named for the first time.
