Nilla Fischer (born August 2, 1984 in Kristianstad ) is a Swedish soccer player . The midfielder made her debut in 2001 at the age of 16 in the national team . She was captain of the national team for a while, u. a. at the Olympic Games in London.

Career

Fischer grew up in Verum in northern Skåne . She started playing soccer at Verums GOIF . Via Vittsjö GIK , she came to Kristianstad / Wä DFF , for whom she appeared in Damallsvenskan .

In 2003, Fischer moved from Kristianstad / Wä DFF to the women's football department at Malmö FF . Here she immediately established herself as a regular player. With the team around players like Caroline Jönsson , Malin Andersson and Karolina Westberg , she occupied places in the front of the top division without being able to break through the supremacy of Umeå IK . It was not until 2010 that the championship was won and in 2011 the title could be defended. For the 2012 season she moved to Linköpings FC .

For the 2013/14 season , Fischer moved to Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg on a free transfer , for whom she made her debut on September 7, 2013 (1st matchday) in a 1-1 home game against FC Bayern Munich .
