Malin Swedberg (born September 15, 1968 ) is a Swedish national soccer player .

Career

Swedberg started her career at Djurgården IF before moving to Älvsjö AIK in Damallsvenskan . With the club she was able to win several national titles in the 1990s. In 1996 she received the Diamond Ball as Sweden's Footballer of the Year .

Swedberg played in 78 international matches for the Swedish women's national team and was able to score ten goals. With the selection she took part in the 1991 World Cup.

Since ending her active career, Swedberg has been working as a TV commentator on Swedish television. She first worked for Sveriges Television , where she was the first woman to comment on a championship game in Swedish men's football. She later commented for Eurosport and, since 2007, for TV 4 .

Swedberg is married to the former soccer player Hans Eskilsson , with whom she has two children.
