Rolf Zetterlund (born January 2, 1942 in Ludvika , Dalarnas län , Sweden ) is a former Swedish bandy and soccer player who now works as a soccer coach .

Career

Zetterlund played in his youth with Utansjö IF , Wäija / Dynäs IK and Kramfors IF . In 1963 the midfielder moved to Åtvidabergs FF in Division 2 , where he was active for two seasons. He then went to league rivals Sandåkerns SK . 1969 to 1971 he played for the second division Sandvikens IF , where he was active as a bandy player in the first division.

On April 15, 1972, at the age of 30, he made his debut for AIK in the Allsvenskan . By 1976 he made 117 top division appearances for the club and scored eleven goals. In 1976 he was able to celebrate victory with the team in the Svenska Cup .

In 1977 Zetterlund moved to IK Brage , where he worked as a player-coach. He was on the field for the club until 1980 and thanks to his strong performances in his last season he was awarded the Guldbollen . This makes him the oldest laureate in the history of the award.

In 1981 Zetterlund took over the place on the coaching bench at AIK Solna. In 1983 he was able to lead the team to first place in the Allsvenskan, but was in the play-offs in the semi-finals after a 3-0 defeat and a subsequent 2-0 win against eventual champions IFK Göteborg terminus. In 1985 he celebrated winning the Swedish Cup with a 4-3 win on penalties over Östers IF . In 1986 he ended his engagement.

From 1987 Zetterlund trained Örebro SK , which he led back to the Allsvenskan after ten years of abstinence. In 1992 he left the club and looked after Spårvägens FF in the second division in 1993 , which he left after only one season in the direction of Malmö FF . In 1997 he went to the second division Hammarby IF , with whom he made promotion to Allsvenskan. This was followed by engagements at Assyriska Föreningen , Vasalunds IF and Vallentuna BK .
