Elisabeth Leidinge

Elisabeth Leidinge (born March 6, 1957 in Sundsvall ) is a former Swedish football player . The multiple national player is now working as a trainer.

Career

Leidinge played for Kema Nord , GIF Sundsvall , Jitex BK and Malmö FF . In total, she won the Swedish championship six times. In addition, she ran between 1974 and 1995 in 112 international matches for the Swedish women's national team . She won the title at the European Championship in 1984 and won bronze at the first Women's World Championship in 1991 . In 1995 she was again in the squad of the national team.

During her active career, she took on goalkeeping coaching duties in the youth of MFF from 1981. Since 1997 she has worked in the same position for the women's team of the club and also oversees the women's youth selection of the Swedish association.
