Lena Videkull
Lena Videkull (born December 9, 1962 ) is a former Swedish national soccer player who now works as a coach .
career
Videkull started playing football at Göta BK . She then played for Trollhättans IF . In the 1984 season she got 35 goals this season, making her top scorer, and was able to reach the final of the Swedish championship with the club, but was subject to Jitex BK . She later switched to Öxabäck IF . Here she was Swedish champion in 1987 and 1988, where she was again top scorer in 1988 with 24 goals this season. She moved on to Malmö FF and was able to celebrate four more championship titles with the club between 1990 and 1994 and was also top scorer four times. After she had already been unofficially named Sweden's Footballer of the Year twice, she was officially presented with the Diamond Bollen in 1993 .
Videkull played 111 international matches for the Swedish women's national team and scored 71 goals. With the selection she won the European Championship in 1984 and participated in the World Championships in 1991 and 1995 .
After the end of her active career, she took over the coaching position of the women's team at Malmö FF between 1999 and 2002. She later trained Husie FF and worked for the Swedish Federation for the U21 and U23 selections.
