Leif Tommy Svensson (born March 4, 1945 in Växjö ) is a Swedish football player and coach. He was the Swedish national coach from 1991 to 1997.

Tommy Svensson was Swedish champion with his home club Östers IF from Växjö 1968. He played abroad for the Belgian club Standard Liège . In 1969 he was voted "Footballer of the Year" (" Guldbollen "). As national coach he celebrated one of the greatest successes in Swedish football history in 1994, when Sweden sensationally finished third in the World Cup.
