Tina Nordlund (born March 19, 1977 ) is a former Swedish soccer player .

Career

Nordlund played for Umeå IK damfotboll in Damallsvenskan from 1996 to 2002 . Between 2000 and 2002 she was Swedish champion three times and was awarded the Diamond Ball for Sweden's best female soccer player in 2000. During the 2002 season she ended her career because she developed anorexia nervosa .

Nordlund played 43 times for the Swedish national team . At the European Championships in 2001 she won the silver medal with the national selection.

In 2006, with the support of sports journalist Simon Bank, she published an autobiography entitled “Genom helvetet: om fotboll, kärlek och anorexi” .
