Johan Martin Christian Lange
Johan Martin Christian Lange (born March 20, 1818 in Ødstedgaard , Fredericia , † April 3, 1898 in Copenhagen ) was a Danish botanist . Its official botanical author's abbreviation is " Lange ".
Life
For a long time he was a professor at the Veterinary College in Copenhagen . He was editor of the supplies 44 to 51 (1858 to 1883) of Flora Danica . He collected many plants in the south of France and in Spain.
Honors
The mushroom genus Willkommlangea Kuntze is named after him and Heinrich Moritz Willkomm .
