Anneli Wahlgren

Anneli Wahlgren (born January 15, 1971 ) is a former Swedish soccer player . The striker took part in the 1996 Olympic Games and the 1997 European Championship with the Swedish national team.

Career

Wahlgren played for Bälinge IF . With the club she rose to the Damallsvenskan at the end of the 1994 season . There she immediately established herself as a dangerous player - she scored five goals in the duel with Tyresö FF alone - and scored a total of 27 goals this season. So she crowned herself the top scorer and led the climber to fifth place in the table. After she was inherited by Lena Videkull as top scorer in the following year , the two shared the title in the 1997 season with 22 goals each season.

At the same time Wahlgren played his way into the Swedish national team. As a supplementary player, she was a member of the national team at the 1996 Olympic Games and the 1997 European Championship.
