Hans Vimmo Eskilsson (born January 23, 1966 in Östersund ) is a former Swedish football player who now works as a coach and poker player .
Soccer
Eskilsson played in his youth at Ope IF and IFK Östersund before he moved to IFK Norrköping in 1985 in the Allsvenskan . In 1987 he moved to league rivals Hammarby IF . Then he went to Portugal. There he played for Sporting Lisbon , Sporting Braga and GD Estoril .
In 1991 Eskilsson returned to Sweden and signed with AIK Solna . After 12 first division games, he moved back to Hammarby IF at the end of the season. In 1995 he joined Vasalunds IF , but only stayed there for half a year. In the summer he went abroad again. His new employer was the Heart of Midlothian from Scotland . However, he stayed there only one season before he went to Hammarby IF for the third time. After a serious foul by Daniel Hoch , he had to end his active career in 2001 because of a complicated broken leg.
In 2002 Eskilsson was coach at the lower class club Östersunds FK , where he also tried his hand at times as a player- coach . In 2004 he was in charge of Enköpings SK . He then worked for Atlas Copco IF and Nykvarns SK . He also appears as a football expert on Swedish television.
Eskilsson is married to the former Swedish international Malin Swedberg , with whom he has two children.
poker
Eskilsson has occasionally taken part in prestigious live poker tournaments since 2005 . So far, he has reached the paid places at the main event of the European Poker Tour five times and has won prize money equivalent to more than 150,000 US dollars . His last cash placement to date was in November 2011.
