Lars Daniel Hoch (born May 11, 1979 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish football player . The striker , who was slowed down by injuries several times in his career, has played his career in Sweden and Denmark so far.

Career

Hoch started playing football at Råsunda IS in 1984 . Via Vasalunds IF he came to the youth department of IF Brommapojkarna in 1991 . In 1997 he finally moved to the AIK's youth department . Under youth coach Rikard Norling , he recommended himself for higher tasks and came when the coach of the competition team Erik Hamrén wanted to try out some younger players towards the end of the 1997 season , for his debut appearance in the Allsvenskan : In the 2-2 draw on October 18 of that year against IF Elfsborg , he stood alongside Nebojša Novaković , Johan Mjällby and Anders Almgren for the entire duration of the game. In the following championship season he played for the club twice - too few stakes to be awarded the championship medal. In 1999 he was still mainly a substitute, but played for the club against FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League .

At the beginning of 2000, Hoch had earned a regular place in AIK's attack. In the summer, however, he was injured and after a broken leg and then a groin injury, he was out for a long time. In summer 2001 he returned to the field as a substitute and in late summer set himself the goal of fighting back a regular place in autumn. Initially, however, he was still a substitute before he had his breakthrough at the beginning of the 2002 season under Peter Larsson and his successor Dušan Uhrin . Together with Andreas Andersson , he formed the club's offensive duo and with eight goals each of the season, the two led the club to fifth place in the table. In the following season he maintained his regular place in the storm, although he only got five goals this season. In April 2004 the bad luck with injuries returned, in the third game of the season 2004 he broke his fibula in the game against Trelleborgs FF . After a three-month break, he returned, but repeatedly had problems with his foot. The season was also unsatisfactory for the club and was ultimately ended on a relegation zone. In the Superettan he fluctuated between the starting eleven and substitutes' bench, he only played three season games over the entire game.

Despite the successful direct resurgence, Hoch left AIK at the end of 2005. He followed an offer from the Danish club Aalborg BK , trained by Hamrén, where he signed a contract valid until the summer of the following year. In the super league , however, he could not prevail due to injury and did not get past four league games. In the summer he therefore returned to Sweden and joined the second division Assyriska Föreningen . At the end of the second division season in 2006 , however, he rose with the club from the Superettan. He therefore moved to the second division IK Sirius , who was trained by his former teammate from AIK times Pär Millqvist . After a good first year with 13 goals this season, his stay here was also determined by injuries, so that he could hardly get beyond the role of a supplementary player afterwards. After the club had not extended his contract after relegation at the end of the second division season in 2009 , he joined the second division Väsby United in the summer of 2010 until the end of the season . After being without a club at the end of the year, he returned to the football field in the summer of 2011 and joined the fourth division club IF Älgarna .
