The Swedish national soccer team of U-23 women is a junior selection that represents Sweden in international women's soccer . The national team was founded in 2007 and replaced the previous U-21 national team .
Neither UEFA nor FIFA currently offer an official competition for this age group, so the Nordic Cup , in which the team meets the U-23 teams of the strongest European associations as well as the selection of the USA , is considered the unofficial European championship , most important date for the Swedish U-23 selection.
