Women's DFB Cup 2017/18

The women's DFB Cup was played for the 39th time in the 2018/19 season. As in the 2009/10 season, the final took place in the Rheinenergiestadion in Cologne .

Participating teams

The teams of the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga of the past season are automatically qualified. In addition, there are the promoted players in the 2nd Bundesliga and the winners of the 21 regional cup competitions. Second teams are generally not eligible to participate. If a second team, whose first team has already qualified for the DFB-Pokal, or a promoted player to the second Bundesliga, wins the state cup, the defeated finalist in the DFB-Pokal moves up.
