The 2018/19 season of the B-Junioren-Bundesliga was the twelfth season of the B-Junioren-Bundesliga .
As in the previous eleven seasons, it was played in the North / Northeast, South / Southwest and West seasons. At the end of the season, the three season winners and the runner-up played one of the three seasons for the German B-Youth Championship . The semi-finals were played in a two-way leg, the final in one game. The three last-placed teams of the three seasons relegated to the subordinate leagues.
Borussia Dortmund started the season as the reigning German champions , Cologne won their second championship title against the defending champions in the final.
Season north / northeast
As champions or top-ranked clubs of the B-Youth Regional Leagues North and Northeast of the preseason, SC Borgfeld and Chemnitzer FC took part in the B-Junior Bundesliga as direct promoters. The runners-up of both regional leagues, VfL Osnabrück and Tennis Borussia Berlin, played the third promoted team in a relegation.

Season south / southwest
As direct climbers, FC Ingolstadt 04 came from the B-Youth Bayern League and SSV Ulm 1846 football from the B-Youth-Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in the B-Junior Bundesliga. The champions or best-placed clubs of the B-Youth Regionalliga Südwest, the DJK SV Phönix Schifferstadt, and the B-Youth Hesse League, the SV Wehen Wiesbaden, played the third climber in a relegation. Wiesbaden prevailed with a 5: 1 in the first leg and a 4: 2 in the second leg.
