The 2003 DFB Women's Cup was won again by 1. FFC Frankfurt . For the Hessians it was already the fifth success in a row. In the final they defeated FCR 2001 Duisburg 1-0. The tragic figure of the final was the Duisburg team captain Martina Voss , who decided the game with an own goal shortly before the final whistle. The biggest surprise was the 2-0 defeat of 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam at the regional division Hamburger SV in round one.
