The 2002/03 Bundesliga was the 13th season of the women's Bundesliga. For the third time in a row, 1. FFC Frankfurt became German champions .
The final"
The championship was only decided on the last match day on June 15, 2003 in the game between the second-placed 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam and the reigning champions 1. FFC Frankfurt . With a win, Potsdam could have won the all-German championship for the first time after six GDR championships, but in front of a home crowd the Potsdam women did not get past a 0-0 draw despite the outstanding backdrop of 7,900 spectators for German women's football.
