Louise Hansen (born May 4, 1975 in Hørsholm , Denmark ) is a former Danish soccer player.
The 98-time national player of the Danish Association was a participant in the European Championships in 1997 and 2005 and the World Championships in 1995, 1999 and 2007.
She played for Hillerød GI, from 1994 for Rødovre BK in Denmark. In 1995 Hansen moved to TSV Siegen , 1996 to Sportfreunde Siegen and in 2000 to 1. FFC Frankfurt . She won the German championship in 1996 with TSV Siegen, six German championships with 1. FFC Frankfurt (2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2008) and made it to the cup final six times. In 2002, 2006 and 2008 she won the UEFA Women's Cup with 1. FFC Frankfurt .
Louise Hansen ended her football career on June 15, 2008 with a triple win by 1. FFC Frankfurt: the German football championship , the DFB Cup and the 2007/08 UEFA Women's Cup . This makes Louise Hansen, after 14 years of Bundesliga football, the most successful Danish professional abroad of all time.
In 2006, Louise Hansen started the girls' soccer project Girls Wanted together with and on the initiative of the Verkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt am Main (VGF) . Since then, day events, multi-day camps, a school tour and girls' soccer school courses have been organized exclusively for girls between the ages of 8 and 16. To date, over 7,500 girls have participated in around 50 events.
