Stefanie Weichelt (born August 23, 1983 in Parchim ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Stefanie Weichelt started playing soccer at SG Marnitz-Suckow. She later moved to SV Grün-Weiß Mestlin. In 2000 she moved to 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam , where she stayed for two years. Her most successful time was from 2002 to 2005 at 1. FFC Frankfurt , when she was German champion twice. Then she moved to SG Essen-Schönebeck .

She played her first Bundesliga game on October 15, 2000 in the 3-1 away win against FSV Frankfurt in Potsdam when she was substituted on in the 70th minute. She made her first Bundesliga goal on February 25, 2001 in a 5-0 home win against WSV Wolfsburg in the 57th minute of the game. In the summer of 2010, Weichelt moved to FCR 2001 Duisburg.
