Norma Blum

Norma Blum ( actually Norma de Lacerta Blum , born October 11, 1939 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian actress .

Norma Blum is the daughter of the well-known Brazilian television professor Robert Blum and the elementary school teacher Erika Blum .

Her parents and their grandparents immigrated from Vienna to Rio de Janeiro in 1936 .

She was discovered for television at the age of 12 and was her father's assistant in the English lessons on TV Tupi . In the 1950s and 1960s she starred in many series and films in Brazil, e.g. B. A Última Valsa . In 1976 she became internationally known in the role of the oppressed wife Malvina in the series The Slave Isaura . In the new edition of the series in 2004 she took part again, this time in the role of Gertrudes .

During her acting career, Blum trained as a naturopath and, in addition to her acting profession , also runs a therapeutic practice.

She has four children who live in Brazil and a younger sister who now lives with her family in Vienna.
