Jennifer Meier (born April 13, 1981 in Worms ) is a former German soccer player. The striker last played for the Swedish second division side Bollstanäs SK .
Career
In 1991, ten-year-old Jennifer Meier began playing football at VfR Bürstadt . Five years later she moved to FSV Frankfurt , where she celebrated her first successes. In 1999 she won her first championship, a year later the U-18 European Championship. In the summer of 1999 she moved to local rivals 1. FFC Frankfurt , with whom she made the championship and cup double three times in a row. On September 8, 2001, she made her debut in the national team in the game against Japan . Jennifer Meier wore the DFB jersey seven times. In 2002 Meier won the first ever UEFA Women's Cup with 1. FFC Frankfurt . A year later she moved to the US professional league WUSA , where she played for Washington Freedom for a short time . In the same year she returned to Germany and played for FSV Frankfurt for two more years. After the 2004/05 season the FSV team broke up and Meier moved to Sweden for the newly promoted QBIK Karlstad . From January 1st, 2008 she was under contract with Djurgården Damfotboll , like her compatriots Ariane Hingst and Nadine Angerer . After two years at Djurgården, Meier moved to the Swedish second division side Bollstanäs SK. There she ended her career after the 2011 season.

Private
Jennifer Meier worked as an administrative clerk in the citizens' office of the city of Frankfurt am Main . During the Damallsvenskan season she was released from her employer. After her career ended, Meier settled in Sweden and took Swedish citizenship.
