The 1999/2000 Bundesliga was the 10th season of the women's Bundesliga. FCR Duisburg became champions for the first and so far only time . Defending champion 1. FFC Frankfurt was runner-up, 15 points behind.

The master from 1993, TuS Niederkirchen, had to relegate for the first time . The Palatinate women were accompanied by 1. FC Nürnberg , who finished last without a chance in its only Bundesliga season to date. With the FFC Heike Rheine and Bayern Munich , two old friends returned.
