Women's DFB Cup 2014/15

The women's DFB Cup was played for the 36th time in the 2015/16 season. The VfL Wolfsburg was his title with a 2: 1 successfully defend in the final. Although there were serious considerations to consider a new stadium for the final, the contract with the city of Cologne was extended until the 2019/20 season. The final took place in the Rheinenergiestadion in Cologne , just like in the 2009/2010 season .

Participating teams

The teams in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga of the past season were automatically qualified. In addition there were the promoted players in the 2nd Bundesliga and the winners of the 21 regional cup competitions. Second teams are generally not eligible to participate. If a second team, whose first team had already qualified for the DFB-Pokal, or a promoted player to the 2nd Bundesliga, won the Landespokal, the defeated finalist in the DFB-Pokal moved up.
