↑ Bundesliga 2014/15 |
The 2014/15 season was the eleventh season of the 2. Bundesliga in women's football . The season started on August 30, 2014 and ended with the last game day on May 22, 2015.
1. FC Lübars became champions in the north , while 1. FC Köln prevailed in the south . Since Lübars did not apply for a license for the Bundesliga, runner-up Werder Bremen moved up. The relegation places were occupied by 1. FC Union Berlin , Magdeburg FFC , 1. FFC Montabaur and 1. FFC 08 Niederkirchen . The VfL Bochum pulled his team back voluntarily. Therefore, the usual relegation games for the fifth relegated team did not take place.
North
1. FC Lübars decided not to apply for admission to the first Bundesliga due to financial issues. Therefore, instead of Lübars, Werder Bremen are promoted to second place in the table. VfL Bochum announced at the beginning of the season that it would dissolve the women's football department. In the course of the second half of the season, however, the decision was reversed. In April 2015, the club moved the team back to the regional league for the coming season.
