Qualifying round for the single-track 2nd Bundesliga
Since the 2018/19 season, the 2nd Bundesliga has been played as a single-track league with 14 teams. The teams up to sixth place were automatically qualified for the single-track 2nd Bundesliga. The two seventh-placed teams together with the champions of the five regional leagues and a runner-up from the regional leagues in two groups of four will determine the last two teams for the single-track 2nd Bundesliga. The runner-up was determined by a performance table of the regional associations, in which the performance of the last three seasons in the 1st and 2nd women's Bundesliga is included. Since no team from the Regionalliga Nord has applied for admission to the 2nd Bundesliga, and other teams also decided not to take part, the Regional Association North-East was given a second starting place in addition to the Regional Association South. Match days were May 21st, May 27th and 3.6.
