The Waldstadion Quelle is a football and athletics stadium in Bielefeld .

Location and facilities

The Waldstadion is located in Bielefeld's Quelle district on Marienfelder Straße. In the northwest, the stadium borders on the Quelle School as a whole. The Lutter , a tributary of the Ems, runs southeast of the stadium . The capacity today is around 2000 seats. There are no seats. The playing area consists of natural grass . A track for athletics runs along the school side. Behind the western gate there is a jump pit for long jump and two beach volleyball fields. There is no floodlight system .

history

The stadium was opened in 1983. The main users of the Waldstadion are the soccer department of TuS Quelle and, for many years, the male B-youth of Arminia Bielefeld . After the women's team of Arminia Bielefeld in the spring of 2016 the rise in the 2.
