Jacqueline de Backer (born July 12, 1994 in Püttlingen ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with 1. FC Saarbrücken since 2009 .
Career

De Backer started playing football at VfB Luisenthal at the age of three and moved to the youth department of 1. FC Saarbrücken as a D-youth. At the age of 15, she made her first division debut for Saarbrücken on December 13, 2009 in the 1: 5 defeat against 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam when she came on for Cynthia Uwak in the 82nd minute . Her first Bundesliga goal was on February 13, 2011 in a 2-2 draw against Herford SV . At the end of the 2010/11 season she was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga with Saarbrücken , but was among the top scorer in the 2nd Bundesliga South with 13 goals in 22 games in the following season .
In the 2017/18 season she was top scorer in the 2nd Bundesliga South with 18 goals.
National team
De Backer took part in July 2010 with the German U-16 national team in the Nordic Cup , where the team reached second place after a final defeat against the USA. With the U-17 juniors , she finished third at the European Championships in Nyon in 2011 , but remained there without a tournament appearance.
