First men's team (2010)

Even before SV Henstedt-Ulzburg was founded, the three main clubs formed a handball community. Both men and women (in the handball women Henstedt-Ulzburg / Kisdorf syndicate, which was dissolved in 2012 ) of the division were among the founding members of the 3rd handball league introduced in 2010 .

The men's team prevailed as champions of the Oberliga Schleswig-Holstein against the Hamburg champions (SG Hamburg Nord) in the play-off games on May 8 and 15, 2010 with two wins and qualified for the first season of the third division ; she took part in the operations of the North Season. The climber ended the season in third place. In the 2011/2012 season, the team became champions in the 3rd division north and made it to the 2nd handball division . In the following season , the team just missed relegation and returned to the third division. The next season the SVHU finished as champions of the 3rd division and thus returned to the 2nd division.

The head coach of the first men was Tobias Skerka from 2010 to 2014 . From 2014 to 2016, the coaching team Amen Gafsi and Matthias Karbowski held the position.

The license application for the 2nd Bundesliga for the 2016/17 season was withdrawn, so that SV Henstedt-Ulzburg was the first to be relegated. Since the 2016/17 season, the men's team has been playing as the HSG Norderstedt / Henstedt-Ulzburg ( HSG Nord HU for short ). After SV Henstedt-Ulzburg announced its withdrawal from the syndicate, it was dissolved at the end of the 2016/17 season. HSV Norderstedt continued to play, but lost the relegation game for the second division against FC Hagen. HSV Norderstedt wanted to join the Hamburg handball association and rename the club's name to Hamburg Metropolitans . Due to a lack of funds, however, he had to withdraw from the third division in August 2017. In March 2018, HSV Norderstedt finally dissolved its handball team. SV Henstedt-Ulzburg started in 2017/18 in the sixth class South / Baltic Sea League, from which it was relegated to the Segeberg district league in 2018 as penultimate.

Soccer

Men

The most successful division of SV Henstedt-Rhen, founded in 1963 (the youngest of the three predecessor clubs) were the footballers and their greatest success was promotion to the Oberliga Nord in 2006. In the 2006/07 season they only came in 16th place, but did not rise from, as some better-ranked teams were not granted a license. After the 2007/08 season , the league was dissolved and the newly founded SVHU entered the Schleswig-Holstein League , from which they again relegated in 2013. A year later, as runner-up, they were promoted directly again, as FC Reher / Puls as a syndicate was not eligible for promotion. In 2016 the SVHU was relegated to the Association League again.

The reserve last played in the association league, the former first team of Union Ulzburg in the Segeberg district league, so that the footballers of the new club were represented in all three of the highest Schleswig-Holstein divisions.
