Karol Zaborowski (born June 19, 1983 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Zaborowski began playing soccer at Eichholzer SV , a club from the Eichholz district of Lübeck , before joining the youth team at VfB Lübeck in 1997 . In 2002 the striker moved up as a contract amateur in the first men's team, but was unable to assert himself in this in the following years. Until 2005 he played one game each in the 2nd Bundesliga and the Regionalliga Nord and was otherwise regularly in action for the 2nd team. When he played in the Regionalliga on August 28, 2004, he scored the 1-0 opening goal against the amateurs of Hertha BSC (final score 2-0) as a substitute in 78 minutes . Before that, he was in March 2003 against Karlsruher SC for a two-minute period Short assignment in the 2nd Bundesliga.
In 2005 he moved to the fourth division club Meiendorfer SV , with whom he relegated to the association league in the following season. He terminated his contract in the summer of 2006 by e-mailing the coach and has since kept fit with the amateur club TuS Hamburg , which plays in the sixth division. At the Hamburg Football Association, he was officially continued as a Meiendorfer SV player.
Zaborowski studied international management at the European Business College in Hamburg. His plan to play for Shanghai Shenhua during a semester abroad in Shanghai in 2007 did not materialize. In the first half of 2007 he was temporarily active in local football in Danzig for Stoczniowiec Gdańsk , after completing his semester abroad he played from September 2007 to the end of the year in the Oberliga Nord for SV Henstedt-Rhen .
