HG Owschlag-Kropp-Tetenhusen

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The handball community Owschlag-Kropp-Tetenhusen (HG OKT) is a handball community from the communities Owschlag , Kropp and Tetenhusen in the Schleswig-Holstein districts of Rendsburg-Eckernförde and Schleswig-Flensburg . The first women's team has been playing in the 3rd Northern League since the 2015/16 season .

history

The syndicate was founded in 2015 and consists of the parent clubs TSV Owschlag , TSV Kropp and TSV Germania Tetenhusen, while the HSG Kropp-Tetenhusen , which had existed until then, was dissolved. The most important reason given for the merger was the demographic change, which had made itself felt in the decreasing number of members in the youth sector. According to its own information, the HG had around 350 active members in 2015.

Since the women's teams of TSV Owschlag and HSG Kropp-Tetenhusen both competed in the 3rd division in 2014/15, the HG and its second team also have the right to start in the Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein Oberliga . In addition, the female youth teams were able to qualify for the highest possible division in the first season.
