The HSG Kropp-Tetenhusen was a syndicate from the Schleswig-Holstein district of Schleswig-Flensburg . It was founded in 1988 by the handball departments of the clubs TSV Kropp and TSV Germania Tetenhusen and dissolved for the 2015/16 season when the parent clubs merged with TSV Owschlag to form the Owschlag-Kropp-Tetenhusen handball community (HG OKT). According to their own information, around 200 handball players recently played in the HSG.

Women

The women of HSG Kropp-Tetenhusen played in the regional handball league from 2004 and qualified in 2010 for the newly created 3rd league . There they reached the 11th place in the table at the end of the 2010/11 season , which entitled to participate in the relegation, which the HSG waived. In the following season 2011/12 the team won the championship in the handball upper league Hamburg - Schleswig-Holstein , but for financial reasons waived the promotion to the 3rd division. After reaching second place in the table in 2012/13, the team won the championship again in 2013/14 and rose to the 3rd division in the 2014/15 season .

Men

From 2007 until the dissolution in 2011, the men formed the SG Kropp-Tetenhusen-Dithmarschen , which competed in the new 3rd league in the 2010/11 season , from which they were relegated at the end of the season. The SG Dithmarschen then ran in 2011/12 with the playing rights of the dissolved SG in the Oberliga Hamburg - Schleswig-Holstein, while the men of HSG Kropp-Tetenhusen competed in the Schleswig district league .
