From 1949 to 1968, the club played repeatedly in the second-highest league in Schleswig-Holstein, but did not get beyond it. The upswing began in 1992 with promotion to the Schleswig-Holstein State League. In 1999 the club moved to the newly founded regional league. A year later, he was promoted to the Schleswig-Holstein Association League. In 2003 the club was promoted to the Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein Oberliga, thus leaving the state for the first time. The first TSV men's team has played in the new Schleswig-Holstein League since the 2008/2009 season; Even the A-youths of the club made it to the top division of the country by winning the district championship title in 2008.
