The season 2019/20 of the Oberliga Schleswig-Holstein was the 73rd season of the Oberliga Schleswig-Holstein and the 26th as the fifth highest division in Germany. It was opened on August 2, 2019 with the game of the promoted Husumer SV against SV Frisia 03 Risum-Lindholm , the last games took place on March 7, 2020. From December 2, 2019 to February 22, 2020, the season was interrupted by the winter break and due to the COVID-19 pandemic , it was declared prematurely ended on April 27, 2020. Master was due to a quotient regulation of the SV Todesfelde .
Season end and evaluation due to the COVID-19 pandemic
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the SHFV announced on March 13, 2020 that games in the Oberliga Schleswig-Holstein would initially be suspended up to and including March 22, 2020. The DFB then announced the final decision of the 21 regional associations to suspend play from the regional league downwards until further notice. On April 27, 2020, the association announced that it did not want to extend the season beyond June 30, 2020 and thus end it prematurely. At a regular meeting on May 9th, a decision was made on the promotion and relegation rules for the aborted and the general conditions for the following season .
The quotient rule (points scored divided by the number of games played) was used on the basis of the table status before the interruption to determine two promoted players and thus determined SV Todesfelde as the season winner and 1. FC Phönix Lübeck as second. However, since Phoenix Lübeck was the only participant who applied for a regional league license, he was the only club eligible for promotion. The condition for this was the approval of the NFV as the host of the Regionalliga Nord . Furthermore, there were no relegations into or out of the league, which is why the field of participants increased for the next season.

Table according to quotient regulation
Since the teams had played a different number of games at the time of the cancellation, a quotient regulation was necessary to determine the final placements. The points were divided by the number of games played. The champions were thus the SV Todesfelde, which however did not register for the Regionalliga Nord. There was no relegation.
