The Schleswig-Holstein Association League was held for the 60th time in the 2006/07 season and formed the substructure of the fourth-class Oberliga Nord. The first placed rose directly at the end of the season. The teams in the last four places had to relegate to the district league.

Compared to the 2005/06 season , the composition of the league changed as follows: SV Henstedt-Rhen was in the Oberliga Nord, while TSV Kropp and FT Eider Büdelsdorf were relegated from the Oberliga Nord. The four relegated members had left the association league and were promoted by the four promoted FC Dornbreite (re- promotion after six years), TSV Altenholz (re- promotion three years after retiring from the league), FC Sörup-Sterup (re-promotion after one season) and TSV Heiligenstedten ( Ascent after three years). The league played again in 2006/07 with 18 teams.

Season course
TSV Kropp secured the championship. However, like the second-placed FT Eider Büdelsdorf, he renounced promotion to the Oberliga Nord, so that the third, the second team of VfB Lübeck, moved up. The last four teams had to relegate from the association league: FC Sörup-Sterup and TSV Heiligenstedten after one season, Oldenburger SV after eight years and TuRa Meldorf after two seasons.
