The Schleswig-Holstein Association League was held for the 61st time in the 2007/08 season and formed the substructure of the fourth-class Oberliga Nord. The first placed qualified for the promotion round for the new Regionalliga Nord. The teams in the last seven places had to relegate to the district league.

Compared to the 2006/07 season , the composition of the league changed as follows: The second team of VfB Lübeck was up in the Oberliga Nord, while VfR Neumünster and the second team from Holstein Kiel were relegated from the Oberliga Nord. The four relegated members had left the association league and were replaced by the four promoted Itzehoer SV ( promotion after one season), ETSV Weiche Flensburg , Heikendorfer SV and Breitenfelder SV (all three for the first time in the highest amateur league in Schleswig-Holstein). The league played in 2007/08 with 19 teams.

Season course

The championship was won by Holstein Kiel's second team. Since the first team had already qualified for the Regionalliga Nord, he decided not to participate in the promotion round. Since the Oberliga Nord was dissolved, the teams had to relegate the last seven places from the association league: the ETSV Weiche Flensburg and the Breitenfelder SV after one season, the SV Todesfelde after three seasons, the FC Dornbreite after two seasons, the SV Eichede and TSV Bargteheide after five years, Rot-Weiß Moisling after eight years.
