The Heikendorfer SV (officially: Heikendorfer Sportverein von 1924 eV ) is a sports club from Heikendorf in the Schleswig-Holstein district of Plön . The first soccer team played for seven years in the highest amateur league in Schleswig-Holstein.

history

The association was founded in 1924. In addition to football, he offers badminton , archery , fitness , handball , art cycling , bounce ball , chess , sports badges , shooting , dancing , tennis , table tennis , gymnastics , volleyball , walking and hiking .

The footballers belonged to the 2nd Amateur League East in the 1950s and 1960s , before they were founding members of the newly created Verbandsliga Nord in 1968 , which was called the Landesliga from 1978 onwards. The greatest success of this era was the third place in the 1970/71 season with four points behind the champions DGF Flensborg . Two years later the Heikendorfer came fourth again. In the following years, the team slipped more and more into midfield and had to relegate in 1986 from the national league. After two third places in 1989 and 1990, he was finally promoted back to the national league in 1991 as runner-up behind Suchsdorfer SV . The team stayed in the country's second division for four years before going back to the district league.

In 1999 the team rose to the newly created regional league east , which replaced the regional league. After a runner-up in 2006 behind TSV Altenholz , a year later he was promoted to the Schleswig-Holstein Association League as champions . A year later, Heikendorfer SV qualified for the Schleswig-Holstein League , where the team achieved the best placement in the 2008/09 season with seventh place. In the 2013/14 season , HSV was relegated from the bottom of the table in the Association League North-East and qualified three years later for the newly created Landesliga Schleswig .
