Augustin Lösch
Augustin Lösch (* 1471 ; † October 2, 1535 ) was Chancellor of the Bavarian Duke Wilhelm IV.
Life
Augustin Lösch came from a Rothenburg patrician family and was the son of the keeper Wilhelm Lösch and Barbara Langenmantel. In 1490 he began studying law at the University of Ingolstadt . In 1494 he acquired the Dr. utr. iuris in Siena . From 1500 he was procurator at the Reich Chamber of Commerce in Worms , from 1503 imperial assessor there. From 1507 he was assessor of the Baierische Kreis and from 1509 to 1516 government chancellor in Straubing . In 1516 he entered the service of the Bavarian Duke Wilhelm IV as a councilor . In 1517 he acquired the Hofmark Hilgertshausen for 5518 Rhenish guilders. In 1528 he was appointed ducal Bavarian chancellor for life. In 1531 it was enfeoffed with the village of Kinding an der Altmühl. He died in 1535.

Augustin Lösch is the progenitor of the noble family of the Barons von Lösch .
