Wilhelm Lösch the Elder Ä. (* 1518 ; † 1572 ) was a lawyer and councilor to the Bavarian duke.

Life

Wilhelm Lösch the Elder Ä. came from a Rothenburg patrician family and was the son of the Bavarian Chancellor Augustin Lösch , who had acquired Veste and Hofmark Hilgertshausen for 5518 Rhenish guilders on November 4, 1517 . After studying in Ingolstadt from 1534, he was Bavarian Privy Councilor from 1538 until his death in 1572. In 1541 he took part in the campaign of Emperor Charles V to Algiers . From 1550 to 1572 he was also a nurse in Friedberg . In 1560 he acquired the Hofmark Hirschenhausen . He died as court marshal in 1572.
