In addition to gymnastics, there has also been a football department since 1947/48, which was promoted to the 2nd amateur league in 1957.

In the 2004/05 season, the first men celebrated the championship in the sixth-class District Oberliga Süd and thus promotion to the Schleswig-Holstein Association League. After the team had achieved relegation twice, the SVT had to go to the Association League South-West in the 2007/08 season. As undefeated champions and district cup winners, the team rose again in the 2009/10 season in the fifth-class Schleswig-Holstein League (since 2017 Oberliga Schleswig-Holstein ). As the serial winner of the Segeberg District Cup , the team has been consistently represented in the SHFV Cup since 2015 .

The most successful season in the club's history so far is the 2019/20 season . The season was interrupted by the Schleswig-Holstein Football Association in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic and declared over in April. At this point in time, SV Todesfelde was after 19 of 30 games with 47 points behind 1. FC Phönix Lübeck with the same number of points , but who had played one more game, in 2nd place. Due to a quotient regulation, SV Todesfelde (2.47 points) was declared champion before 1. FC Phönix Lübeck (2.35 points). The SV Todesfelde had previously not submitted an application for approval for the upcoming regional league season and therefore remained in the top division. In addition, SV Todesfelde won the state cup final , which they made up at the end of August, against third division promoted VfB Lübeck , qualifying for the DFB Cup for the first time .

youth

In 2006, SV Todesfelde formed the SG Trave 06 youth syndicate together with SV Wittenborn, Eintracht Segeberg, SV Wahlstedt, SC Rönnau 74 and Leezener SC in order to improve talent development. In 2011 the Klein Rönnauer and the Bad Segeberger left the SG. From the C to the A youth, the competitive teams are represented in the Schleswig-Holstein League, at the same time the Trave also offers mass sports.

Handball department

The handball department was founded in 1974. The greatest success of the handball division was achieved by the female youth B in the 2008/09 season. After winning the national championship, the team also won the NOHV championship title. As a result, Todesfelde qualified for the quarter-finals of the German Championship, where they failed at the JSG Nellingen / Wolfschlugen. In the 2011/12 season, the female A-youth moved into the Final Four tournament for the German championship. In the end, the team took 4th place.

The women's team played in the national league from 2008. In the 2009/10 season the team took second place in the final table and qualified for the newly created Schleswig-Holstein League. After SV Todesfelde and Leezener SC formed the SG Todesfelde / Leezen syndicate, the syndicate was promoted to the league in summer 2012 .
