Blazon : "In silver, the black side view of an octagonal baroque church with an attached lantern and attached high tower in plait style, which is accompanied on the right by a red rose and diagonally below it by a green maple leaf."

The Rellinger coat of arms was awarded on May 23, 1952 and shows the symbol of the community, the Rellinger Church, on a silver background. The green maple leaf and the red rose point to the importance of Rellingen as a rose-growing and high-tree school area at the time.

Culture and sights

The Rellinger Church , a late baroque building by Cay Dose . The previous building was badly damaged during the Thirty Years War and then only poorly restored. In 1754 the church was demolished and the new building was erected by 1756 including the old tower. As is typical of Cay Dose's works, the church has an octagonal design and is crowned by a lantern . The church is one of the most important baroque buildings in the Pinneberg district and can also be found in the coat of arms of the municipality of Rellingen.
