Prisdorf ( Low German : Prisdorp ) is a municipality in the southwest of Schleswig-Holstein in the Pinneberg district , on the road 107 between Pinneberg and Tornesch in the largest contiguous tree nursery area in Europe .

Prisdorf is located in the Pinneberg district , part of the Hamburg metropolitan region , between the city of Pinneberg and the communities of Kummerfeld , Appen and Tornesch .
history
The first documented mention of Prisdorf dates from 1342 with Villa Britzerdorpe. The Peinerhof was first mentioned in a document in 1477 with Peyne. The regulation of the upper Pinnau began in 1883 and a short time later that of the Bilsbek , in order to cope with the winter floods in the Pinnau-Bilsbekniederungen.
Population development
The development of the population in the years 1939 to 1955 is mainly due to the admission of evacuated Hamburg residents and expellees from the eastern regions.
