Hasloh is a municipality in the Pinneberg district in Schleswig-Holstein . Haslohfeld, Klövensteen and Langenbergen are in the municipality.
geography
Hasloh is located north of the Hanseatic city of Hamburg , west of Norderstedt , east of Pinneberg and south of Quickborn .
Hasloh is located directly on Bundesstraße 4 . The federal motorway 7 runs east of the village . The AKN's Hamburg-Altona-Neumünster railway runs through the town . The place thus has a connection to the transport network of the Hamburger Verkehrsverbund (HVV). It is around 20 minutes to Hamburg Airport and 25 minutes by car to downtown Hamburg.
story
The first written mention goes back to 1253, when the village was still called Herslo . Herslo goes back to an Indo-European word stem and means "swampy, flat surface". At that time, a Dominus Hartmannus de Herslo , i.e. Mr. Hartmann von Herslo, appeared as a witness. In the 16th century, Hasloh belonged to the registry of the clerk Clamer Heine to the Waldvogtei, together with Lokstedt , Niendorf , Garstedt, Quickborn, Renzel, Winzeldorf, Bönningstedt, Schnelsen and Hummelsbüttel .
On September 6, 1971, immediately after taking off from Hamburg Airport, a Paninternational plane with 121 people on board had to make an emergency landing near Hasloh on Autobahn 7 . The BAC One-Eleven collided with a motorway bridge and broke into several parts, killing 22 people. Instead of pure demineralized water , kerosene was accidentally filled into the tanks for water injection to increase the take-off performance of the engines (see Paninternational flight 112 ) .
religion
Hasloh has an Evangelical Lutheran church that belongs to the Quickborn-Hasloh parish. The Catholic Church of St. Marien, Quickborn, is five kilometers from Hasloh's center.

coat of arms
Blazon : “Divided obliquely by gold and blue on the left. Above a red veined black rose with a golden calyx and green leaf tips, below on a cut golden branch an upright golden oak leaf, underneath on the same branch a stalk with a golden, upright acorn and an acorn shell pointing downwards. "
The place name Hasloh indicates that the place was founded in a "swampy forest area" (Loh), in which the stag (Has = derivation from Hertes or Hartes = stag) was native. The administrative affiliation of the community to the later Waldvogtei of the Pinneberg rule confirms this assumption based on the place name. The characteristic oak forests lasted for a long time. Oak bark was still being extracted here towards the end of the 19th century for tanning skins and hides. The oak leaf and acorn in Hasloh's coat of arms are a reminder of the importance of the oak forests for the town. The Hasloh rose breeder Max Krause first grew a black rose in the early 1930s. She became world famous under the name "Nigrette". The figure of the rose in the coat of arms is a reminder of this floristic merit of a Hasloh citizen.
Town twinning
