Bevern is a municipality in the Pinneberg district in Schleswig-Holstein . The localities of Barkhörn, Barmstedter Wohld, Bentkrögen, Beverndamm, Billhörn, Dannesch, Kreuzweg, Nettelohe and Steinfurt belong to the municipality.

Geography and traffic

Bevern is about five kilometers east of Elmshorn and about four kilometers south of the city of Barmstedt . The Ekholter Au flows through the municipality.

The federal motorway 23 runs to the west from Hamburg to Elmshorn .

Community representation

In the 2013 local elections, only the Bürgerliche Wahlgemeinschaft Bevern (BWB) competed and accordingly won all nine seats in the local council.
