Hanover Acceptances Limited is the holding company, founded in 1974, of a British group of companies primarily active in the agribusiness , food manufacturing (beverage), real estate and private equity investment sectors. The founder and chairman is Manfred Gorvy, who comes from South Africa and was one of the 300 richest British people in the Sunday Times in 2007. CEO is his son Sean Gorvy. By means of the parent holding company Quadriga International Limited is Hanover Acceptances controlled by the family Gorvy.

Dorrington

London-based Dorrington plc invests in and develops residential and commercial real estate; Founded in 1936, Dorrington was listed on the stock exchange from 1959 until it was fully taken over by Hanover Acceptances in 1980. Dorrington is now one of the largest property owners in the Greater London area .

Fresh Capital Group

Fresh Capital Group , also based in London, is the venture capital arm of Hanover Acceptances. The focus is on investments in British companies from the agribusiness, the food industry and the real estate sector. Previous participations included: Blueheath (a wholesaler that supplies convenience shops ), the DSL provider Bulldog Communications, the organic market group Fresh & Wild, iTradeNetwork (a Californian provider of software for supply chain management in the food industry), Steribottle (manufacturer of Disposable baby food bottles) and the second largest British internet portal for real estate information Zoopla.

African Realty Trust

The African Realty Trust (ART), headquartered in Letaba, South Africa (near Tzaneen , Limpopo Province ), is the largest grower, processor and exporter of citrus fruits in southern Africa. ART includes plantations ( Letaba Estates , Richmond Estates ) and the processing company Letaba Citrus Processors (LCP). LCP was founded in 1961 as a joint venture between the South African conglomerate of John Schlesinger (to which the real estate company African Realty Trust already belonged) and the US American The Minute Maid Company . Both were later fully acquired by The Coca-Cola Company . In 1985, ART acquired LCP from Coca-Cola. In April 2013 GerberEmig announced that it would merge with the Dutch beverage company Refresco . GerberEmig holds 27.5 percent and Refresco 72.5 percent of the new company RefrescoGerber , based in Amsterdam. The European competition authority approved the takeover with the condition that the Emig plant in Waibstadt be sold.
