The FT Eider Büdelsdorf is a sports club from Schleswig-Holstein .

history

FT means free gymnastics , the addition Eider refers to the river of the same name on which the city of Büdelsdorf is located. The foundation date of the FT Eider Büdelsdorf , officially stated by the association as 1957, hides part of its tradition. A club of the same name was founded long before that, but like all workers' sports clubs, it was banned by the National Socialists in 1933. In 1945, members of the former FT Eider and the civil TSV Glück-Auf became the Büdelsdorfer TSV . In 1957 a new association under the old name FT Eider Büdelsdorf split off. After a long shadowy existence in football, a sporting high-altitude flight began in 1998/99, which was closely related to the former chairman and sponsor Reinhard Kuhr. After a few years in the fourth-class Oberliga Nord , the first men's team played in the Schleswig-Holstein League , from which they were relegated and disbanded at the end of the 2011/12 season. The remaining (previously second) men's team played in the lower district classes for a few years, from the 2018/19 season onwards, no team of the club will participate in the game.

Individual evidence

  1. ↑ The venue was the sports field at Heisterort with a maximum of 1,000 seats, which could be called a natural stadium because the (unusually small - but still corresponding to the minimum) playing field is located in a depression between grassy walls.
