Women's DFB Cup 2018/19

The women's DFB Cup was played for the 40th time in the 2019/20 season. As in the 2009/10 season, the final took place in the Rheinenergiestadion in Cologne .

Participating teams

The teams of the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga of the past season are automatically qualified. In addition, there are the champions of the five regional league seasons and the winners of the 21 regional cup competitions. Second teams are generally not eligible to participate. If a second team, whose first team has already qualified for the DFB-Pokal, or a regional league champion wins the national cup, the defeated finalist in the DFB-Pokal moves up.

The teams qualified for the first round suggest that the regional league runners-up were also admitted (Bocholt 2nd West, Nuremberg 3rd South, Walddörfer SV 2nd North, Niederkirchen 2nd Southwest).
