Nadine Westerhoff (* 8. February 1983 in Castrop-Rauxel as Nadine Matthes ) is a German football referee .

Career

Westerhoff successfully passed her referee examination in the football district of Herne in 2006 , has been a DFB referee since 2012 and whistles for DSC Wanne-Eickel . Two years later, she was promoted from the 2nd women's division to the top division of women ( women's division ). She has been working as an assistant referee in the women's Bundesliga since 2011.

In the men's division, she has been leading games in the fifth-class Oberliga Westfalen since 2012 . Since the 2016/17 season , Westerhoff has also been used as an assistant referee in the Regionalliga West.

In addition to her active work, the referee is also involved in the Herne Referees Association on a voluntary basis as an assessor in the district referee committee. Among other things, she is responsible for coordinating the advancement of women.

Private

Professionally, she works as a travel agent . On May 30, 2014 she married the soccer player Sebastian Westerhoff, with whom she has a child. They live together in Bochum .
