Friederike Abt (born July 7, 1994 in Bielefeld ) is a German soccer goalkeeper .
Career
societies
Abt began her career in 2000 at FC Altenhagen and moved to Herford SV in 2005, where she was active in the youth sector until 2011. Already in the 2010/2011 season she moved up to the professional squad of the Herford women and made her Bundesliga debut on March 6, 2011 (21st matchday) in the 2: 4 defeat in the away game against SG Essen-Schönebeck . As the bottom of the table , the club was relegated from the Bundesliga after just one season . In the second division season 2011/12, Abt was a regular goalkeeper until the turn of the year, before she tore a cruciate ligament in January 2012 and was out for more than six months. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season, the goalkeeper first made a few appearances for Herford's second team in the Westphalia League, but then tore her cruciate ligament again and only made her comeback in March 2014. On April 23, 2015, Abt announced her move to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim after 10 years with Herford SV Borussia . In her first two seasons in Hoffenheim she was only used irregularly in the Bundesliga, but has been the goalkeeper since the 2017/18 season.
National team
On April 15, 2009 she made her debut in the national jersey when she guarded the goal in Rhede in the 5-0 victory of the U-15 national team over the selection of the Netherlands.
For the U-17 national team , she played for the first time on September 6, 2009 in the 10-0 victory over Israel. She took part in the European Championships in Nyon / Switzerland from June 22nd to 26th, 2010 , and reached 3rd place with the team; however, it was not used. It was used at the 2010 World Cup in the 2nd group game , in the 10-1 victory over the selection of South Africa. In 2011 she was again in the squad for the U-17 European Championship , where the team finished third as in the previous year. Abt played a total of seven games for the U-17 national team.
For the U-19 national team , she played for the first time on May 11, 2011 in a 5-0 victory over Russia. In the same year she was part of the German squad for the U-19 European Championship in Italy , where she played on June 5, 2011 in the third group game in the 2-1 win against the Netherlands and with the team after an 8th : 1-final success against the selection of Norway won the European title.
