Marina Hegering (born April 17, 1990 in Bocholt ), nickname Maschina , is a German soccer player . She has been under contract with FC Bayern Munich since July 2020 .

Career

Marina Hegering began her career at DJK SV Lowick in 1930 , where she played for twelve years, most recently in the male B youth performance class. At the age of 16 she moved to FCR 2001 Duisburg , for whose Bundesliga team she played until 2011. On August 19, 2007 (1st matchday) she made her competitive debut in the 1-0 win in the away game against Hamburger SV and scored on April 6, 2008 (14th matchday) in a 7-1 win at home against TSV Crailsheim with the hits to 4-1 in the 57th and 6-1 in the 77th minute, their first Bundesliga goals. In her final season, 2010/11 , a persistent heel injury forced her to stay out of the game. During her club membership, she won the DFB Cup twice and the UEFA Cup once.

For the 2011/12 season she signed a two-year contract with Bayer 04 Leverkusen . However, after recovering from a heel injury, she played her first Bundesliga game for Bayer 04 Leverkusen on April 13, 2013 (18th matchday) in a goalless draw in the home game against SGS Essen , to which she moved at the start of the 2017/18 season.

With her team she reached the final of the DFB-Pokal against VfL Wolfsburg on July 4, 2020 and scored her first goal in a final game in the 2: 1 defeat on penalties with the goal to 2: 1 in the 18th minute .

For the 2020/21 season she was signed by FC Bayern Munich and received a contract dated June 30, 2022. At the age of 30 she became a professional soccer player for the first time.

Selection / national team

After Hegering had been used in the female U-13 Niederrhein choice and also the FVN countries Cup team U-15 belonged, she made her debut on September 3, 2004 as a national player for the U-15 national team that the test international match against the selection of Canada lost with 1: 5. For the U-20 national team , for which she played 18 times, she took part in two world championships . Her first took place from November 20 to December 7, 2008 in Chile , which she and her team finished in third place after the 5-3 victory over France's selection. Her second took place from July 13 to August 1, 2010 in her own country, from which she and her team emerged as world champions.

She made her debut for the senior national team on April 6, 2019 in Solna in a 2-1 win in a friendly against the national team of Sweden . For the 2019 World Cup , she was appointed to the squad by national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg .
