Gerhardt, who had learned to play football at SC Kreuzau 05 from the municipality of the same name in the Düren district , switched to the youth department of 1. FC Cologne at the age of eleven . After going through all age groups , she moved up to the first team for the 2014/15 season . On September 21, 2014 (3rd matchday), she played in the 1-0 win over 1. FFC Montabaur , with the substitution for Rachel Rinast in the 46th minute, her first of 19 league games in the senior division.
